Faerch unveils recycled PET and PP snap packs for dairy
2019-10-07
From:Packaging News

Faerch has claimed a first with the launch of recycled PET and PP snap packs for the dairy market.

The snap packs are said to be technically demanding to manufacture and need to combine strength with flexibility. Faerch said that its patented ‘S perf’ development overcame the limitation.

Mark Tollman, group strategic sales director at Faerch said: “The Faerch S perforated design has been developed in partnership with a leading UK retailer to give consumers an alternative to styrene, which can be recycled.”

Faerch said that the launch is the first part of its ongoing product innovation programme, with further ranges launching very shortly. It is also part of the company’s commitment to the UK Plastics Pact.
